Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met on Sunday with Bechtel Regional Chairman David Welch.
Ismail asserted during the meeting efforts and measures taken by the Egyptian government to encourage and lure more investments in all economic sectors, said Hossam Gawish, the spokesman for the cabinet.
The premier also reviewed available investment opportunities in Egypt particularly in the Suez Canal development project which allows more businesses for foreign companies.
Welch, for his part, stressed that his company is keen on increasing its investments in Egypt.
