
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar Bashir on Wednesday signed several joint cooperation agreements.
The agreements include one on comprehensive strategic partnership. They also signed the minutes of the first session of the joint higher committee meetings that kicked off here on Sunday.
The two presidents attended the signing ceremony of the minutes of the political and security aspect of the joint committee meetings that was signed by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Sudanese counterpart Ibrahim el Ghandour.
The two presidents also attended the signing ceremony of an agreement on educational and scientific research cooperation that was signed by Egyptian Minister of Higher Education Ashraf Shehy and Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim el ghandour.
Other cooperation agreements were signed at the ceremony in the domains of education, agriculture and water resources, health and telecommunications and information technology along with sports, culture and tourism.
The two presidents also attended the signing ceremony of an agreement on cooperation in the sector of transportation.
