Sisi follows up measures of establishing Suez Canal Axis Development Project

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Head of Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish in the presence of Armed Forces Engineering Authority Major General Kamel el Wazir, Director of Operations at Dar al Handasah Mohamed Zaki and the legal adviser of Suez Canal development project Hani Sarie Eldin.

The meeting took up measures of establishing the Suez Canal Axis Development Project and the executive steps related to the establishment of the general authority of the economic zone of the Suez Canal, said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef.

The meeting further reviewed the executive steps to develop East Port Said area in line with the general plan which was endorsed to develop the Suez Canal, added the spokesman.
