
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday met with Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouli to discuss a number of planned housing projects and the layout of the new administrative capital.
In statements on Sunday, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said the meeting took up projects that are co-established by the housing ministry and the Armed Forces' Engineering Authority.
Sisi and Madbouli also discussed the plans to establish the new administrative capital and layouts of facilities and roads there, the spokesman noted.
During the meeting, Madbouli briefed Sisi on preparations to inaugurate the project of "New Ismailia City", to be built on 2,157 acres, in August.
A number of other development projects across the country, notably bridges to be built on June 30 Axis, were discussed in the meeting, Youssef underscored.
