The State has a clear-cut vision to utilize mining projects as national projects, especially along the Eastern Desert and in Sinai, said presidential aide for national and economic projects Ibrahim Mahlab.
The Eastern Desert and Sinai areas are full of mining ores which qualify them to establish industries and integrated mining cities that serve the State's goals in development, he added during the second day of touring the mining center and gold analysis lab, which is affiliated to the Mineral Resources Authority.
The national projects which are implemented by the State aim to serve the citizens in the first place and show Egypt's ability to attain development, he added.
Mahlab was also briefed on the activities of the Mineral Resources Authority and its future projects.
Head of the Mineral Resources Authority Omar Teima said that developing the mining activity is attained through launching international tenders and signing new mining agreements.
