Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said Tuesday that his current visit to London aims at luring more British investments to Egypt.
"We have met with a number of British businessmen, and expounded the Suez Canal Development Project," he told MENA.
He added that Yahya Zaki, chairman of Dar Engineering Group spoke of the general outline of the Suez Canal Development Project and the industrial and logistic zones.
"President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued directives to communicate with all investors," Mamish noted.
He said that the president pays great attention to restructure Egypt's national economy through development projects.
"The Suez Canal Corridor Development is not an investment project, but is a national one," he concluded.
