
Preparations were made at Suez's Adabiya Port to receive 2,390 heads of cattle from Sudan.
The port also received a vessel with 15,500 tons of palm oil from Indonesia and another with 5,000 tons of packaged sugar from Somalia, Red Sea Ports Authority spokesman Abdel Rehim Mostafa said.
A ferry left Safaga Port with 677 passengers, 26 cars and 20 trucks on board and another with 60 trucks and ten passengers aboard, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, Nuweiba Port received a ferry carrying 265 passengers, two buses and a car and another laden with 52 trucks, he added.
