
Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Yasser el Qady met Monday with Vodafone Egypt Chairman Ian Gray and the Chief Executive Officer of the firm Ahmed Essam.
During the meeting, the company stressed its commitment to invest in the country and expand its activities so as to provide more job opportunities.
El Qady underlined the importance to work in the Egyptian market out of the long-run strategic partnership.
He further highlighted the investment taking place in updating the infrastructure of the telecommunications sector.
For his part, Gray hailed the support provided by the minister for the telecommunication industry, adding that the Egyptian cadres working in his firm are capable to create and renovate.
