
Head of the General Authority for Improving Tihama Abdul-Salam al-Tayib met on Sunday with the Netherlands ambassador to Sana’a Aldrik Gierveld, and FAO and UNDP representatives in Yemen.
The meeting discussed the underway projects in Tihama plain which are funded by Holland, FAO and UNDP.
They discussed requirements needed in order to preserve water through irrigation systems in the agricultural valleys, in addition to raising the agricultural awareness.
The meeting also discussed improving the economic growth, in addition to the project of small diary farmers and food security.
