
Human Appeal International — the UAE charity body has offered thousands of Iftar meals to people fasting in Al Aqsa Mosque grounds on the first Friday of the month as part of its Iftar programme.
Ebrahim Rashid, director of the business authority in the West Bank, said that the working teams are keen to be present in Al Aqsa Mosque to prepare Iftar for those fasting in close coordination with the Endowment and Islamic Affairs Department in occupied Jerusalem.
Rashid stressed that the authority has taken into account the increasing number of worshippers at Al Aqsa Mosque for prayers on the first Friday of the month. The teams were instructed to show the utmost readiness to provide Iftar meals to all the worshippers who numbered in the thousands.
