Warnings of deteriorating economic situation in Gaza due to Israeli siege

The Governmental Committee for Breaking the Siege and Receiving Delegations in Gaza warned from the deterioration of economic situation in Gaza due to the Israeli siege for the 9th year in a row.
In a press statement, the committee commented on a UN report that warned that Gaza will not be fit for living by 2020, expressing fear that continuing the Israeli siege on the enclave will increase poverty rates in Gaza.
The committee called on the international community and human rights organizations to cooperate for easing life in Palestine and lifting the Israeli siege imposed on Gaza.
