The World Bank will provide Algeria with technical assistance for the improvement of business climate under an agreement signed Wednesday here by industry and mines ministry and the international financial institution.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Industry and Mines, Abdessalem Bouchouareb and the resident representative of the World Bank in Algeria, Emmanuel Noubissié Ngankam in the presence of representatives of the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA) and Employer Organizations.
Under this agreement, the Bretton Woods Institution will have a mission of accompanying and "coaching" in order to significantly improve the business climate in Algeria.
It will also establish a mechanism for evaluating and monitoring the implementation of the action plan of the committee in charge of improving the business environment in Algeria, installed in March 2013.
The one year mission of the World Bank will be developing operational tools for evaluation and monitoring, organizing seminars on exchange with the various players and the coaching of members of the Committee and the Ministry in support of the process of business climate improvement in Algeria.
