
A 40-strong Australian business team will visit Egypt within the coming few weeks to stand on investment opportunities, the Australian ambassador to Egypt said on Tuesday.
During a meeting with Egyptian Minister of Justice, Neil Hawkins said Australia is keen on cooperating with the Egyptian government.
Zend said Egypt is ready for inking judicial cooperation deals with Australia, especially in domains that would boost Australian investments in Egypt.
Egypt is keen that investors would feel at ease while doing business in the Arab state, Zend said.
He added that terrorism in Egypt is an "emergency and pressing problem,"expounding that the wave of terrorism rocking Egypt and the whole world is meant to destroy nations.
Zend said terrorists target public facilities which serve people's interests, stressing that terrorism reflect distorted thought and belief in creed.
He added that Islam has nothing to do with such criminal acts and torture committed by Daesh and similar groups.
He went on to expound that terror has no roots in Egypt, stressing that Egypt would spare no effort to crush terror.
