
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Nabil Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud has expressed his pride and appreciation of the good economic bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Belgium.
This came during the meeting yesterday at Bait al-Tijjar with the representative of one of the major Belgian marketing companies.
Al Mahmoud said that the Bahraini private sector has shown its constant keenness and diligence on activation and developing of its commercial relations with Belgium in all commercial, industrial and investments fields, calling to encouragement of Belgian businesspeople and representatives from the various commercial and industrial sectors to come and to invest in Bahrain.
He said that the BCCI is looking forward to increasing the vistas of bilateral trade between Bahrain and Belgium which reached the tune of $ 63.4 million according to the Central Informatics Organisation (CIO)'s recent trade indicators. Al Mahmoud said this can be achieved through joint projects and encouragement of visits exchanging between economic delegations.
