Bahraini finance minister receives Japanese ambassador

Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on Wednesday received the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kiyoshi Asako.
The two sides noted the distinguished relations between the two countries and their flourishing co-operation in areas relating to finance and economy.
They also discussed ways and means of enhancing such co-operation on the basis of common interests and mutual benefit, citing the crucial role of the Japan Bahrain Economic Cooperation Association (JBECA) in this respect.
The two sides also reviewed on-going regional and international developments.
