The new government of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will put economic reform as the top priority, said BiH Chairman of the Presidency Mladen Ivanic on Monday.
Mladen made the remarks during his speech at the business forum "Germany - key trade and business partner for BiH".
He noted the new BiH coalition agreed to enter into talks on facilitating the payment of VAT, "the highest priority is the reduction of taxes and contributions, and in order to do this the public sector must be reduced".
Coalition talks were still underway to form a new government after the general election in October.
The one-day business forum aimed to enhance the economic cooperation between Germany and BiH, with bilateral trade standing at some 1.5 billion euros (1.87 billion U.S. dollars).
