Guangdong Province Governor Zhu Xiaodan on Wednesday expressed hope the Kuwait-China venture of building a joint oil refinery and petrochemical complex in the city of Zhanjiang would be executed rapidly.
The Governor, during a meeting with the Kuwaiti Consul General to Guangzhou Abdulwahab Al-Sager, held on sidelines of the international Canton Fair, affirmed depth of the relations bonding Kuwait with his nation. Due to these good and distinctive ties, the two countries would "ink the final signing" of the joint project, he added.
For his part, the General Consul expressed identical sentiments.
