A Chinese delegation headed by China's Assistant Minister of Commerce Zhang Xiangchen arrived here Tuesday for a three-day visit.
"China's assistance in the country's rebuilding is vital. The main purpose of the visit is to discuss on China's technical and economic support in Nepal's rebuilding," Madhu Kumar Marasini, chief at the International Economic Cooperation Division of the Nepal's Finance Ministry told Xinhua.
According to Marasini, the two sides will hold talks on reconstruction projects to be funded by China in the near future. China has been reiterating that it would support Nepal's rebuilding as per Nepal's need.
The assistant minister, also China's deputy international trade representative, is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Nepalese Finance Secretary Suman Prasad Sharma on Thursday, officials at the Nepal's Finance Ministry said.
