
Egypt's Ambassador to Zambia and its Permanent Representative to the COMESA Rag'ie Nasr met with the Secretary General of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Sindiso Ndema Ngwenya.
The COMESA groups 19 countries including Egypt.
Nasr handed Ngwenya an invitation from the prime minister to take part in the investment summit to be held under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in Sharm el Sheikh on February 20-21, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Nasr said that the COMESA chief stressed on his participation in the important event.
Ngwenya expressed his appreciation to Sisi for the efforts he exerts to attract investments to Africa.
