
Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa Al Ahwani on Sunday met with South Korea Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Choi Kyung Hwa on the fringe of her three-day visit to the US to take part in the seasonal meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.
The meeting aims at bolstering international cooperation between the two countries, especially in the technical education and training.
They also discussed means of luring Korean investment to Egypt.
Ahwani also met her Jordanian counterpart Emad Fakhouri as part of coordination between the two countries to achieve common development goals.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian minister attended a ceremony marking World Earth Day and delivered Egypt's speech on the measures adopted by the Egyptian government to combat air pollution as part of a WB-sponsored program for healthy and pollution-free environment.
