Egypt ambassador elected deputy head of trade, development council

Egypt's ambassador to the United Nations Amr Ramadan was elected Tuesday as deputy chairman of the trade and development council, an offshoot of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Ramadan will assume the post for one year.
The 62nd session of the trade and development council kicked off earlier in the day
