Egypt buys 60,000 tons of French wheat

The General Authority For Supply Commodities (GASC), on behalf of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, has through an international tender, agreed to buy 60.000 tons of French wheat.
One ton of wheat will cost 259.87 dollars.
The wheat will be used to produce the subsidized bread.
In statements on Thursday, GASC Head Mamdouh Abdel Fattah said that the shipping will be carried out during the period from December 21 till 31.
