Egypt and Luxembourg initialed two agreements on combating tax evasion and avoiding double taxation, Chairman of the Egyptian Tax Authority Abdel Moneim Matar.
The agreements will be finally signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries, Matar said in statements Monday.
The Tax Authority had struck 58 similar agreements with world countries and is always working on upgrading international deals to encourage investments in Egypt and provide a stage conducive for investment, he said.
