
Cooperation between Egypt and China is based on transparency, said a top official of the Egyptian embassy in Beijing.
Ayman Osman, director of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Egyptian embassy in Beijing, made the remarks in a speech to a seminar held in the Chinese capital.
Beijing and Cairo exchange information on projects as well as laws and regulations governing investments, The Egyptian diplomat noted.
The areas of bilateral cooperation include electricity, energy, petroleum, natural gas, railways, highways, ports and many other areas, Osman added.
He said that China gives priority to developing production industries, pointing out that Beijing cooperates with Arab countries in 12 different fields.
