
Minister of Transport Hani Dhahi on Tuesday received a delegation from the Spanish government, including head of Ineco, a government transportation consulting company, and members of the Spanish embassy in Cairo.
In statements on Tuesday, Dhahi said talks covered formulating a working plan for the studies needed to put into effect the projects of Cairo-Luxor high speed train and Luxor-Hurghada train as well as the studies pertaining to the funding of underground projects.
The minister said the Spanish side offered their expertise to the Egyptian companies and authorities operating in the transportation field.
The Spanish delegation reviewed the projects which are currently under construction in a number of Arab countries like Saudi Arabia.
