Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour started on Thursday a two-day visit to France.
Abdel Nour will meet with representatives of a number of French companies willing to invest in Egypt as well as the French president's advisor for foreign trade and economy.
The visit aims to attract businessmen and investors to the Egyptian economic conference slated to be held next month in Sharm el Sheikh.
Abdel Nour is also expected to give a number of interviews to French media outlets in which he will shed light on Egypt's attempts to reform its economy and efforts to eliminate terrorism.
