
Foreign Minister Abdullah al-Saidi has met in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman and Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie Amos.
At the meeting, which was held on sidelines of theSir Bani Yas Forum in Abu Dhabi, al-Saidi and the UN officials deal with the importance of providing economic and development aid by the international community to Yemen at this critical juncture.
During the meeting, the UN officials expressed their readiness to urge the donor countries, especially the neighboring countries, to provide the necessary support to Yemen in order to avoid further deterioration of the economic situation.
