The final communiqué of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) will include reference to certain Egyptian national projects offered for investment, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said.
In statements to MENA, Shoukry said cooperation between Africa and China is fruitful and is based on no political strings or interference in internal affairs.
China has nothing to do with conflicts, especially in Africa, the Egyptian top diplomat said, adding that instead it has an effective role through its membership in the United Nations Security Council.
Shoukry underscored that the Asian giant is keen on promoting relations with African countries.
He hailed as "fruitful" the relationship between Cairo and Beijing, pointing out that it includes cooperation in a number of fields.
Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail is leading Egypt's delegation to the FOCAC, which kicked off here Friday.
The two-day event was inaugurated by South African President Jacob Zuma and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
