The Georgian government has always considered China as an important partner and attaches great importance to promoting bilateral cooperation, Garibashvili said.
Calling Georgia a country of "great potential" with geopolitical importance, Huang said he is willing to attend the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum scheduled for October.
The two also discussed the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative as well as trade and economic cooperation.
According to Georgian government data, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is Georgia's largest investor among Chinese provinces and regions.
