The minister also underlined “Algeria’s willingness to strengthen the Algerian-American cooperation in the interest of both sides, in the fields of investment, manufacturing, transfer of expertise and training.”
Ghoul made a speech at the opening of the US-Africa Leaders Summit on transport which is being held in Chicago from 30 July to August 1.
The meeting is part of the strengthening of the cooperation between the participating countries (Algeria, Ethiopia, South Africa, Angola, and Nigeria) and the United States in the field of transport.
“Algeria is experiencing a major dynamic in the development of the sector,” said the minister, underlining that this dynamic combined with the country’s strategic position and the ambitious programmes developed in this regard will enable Algeria to be an important centre for the development of transport sector at the level of the African continent,” said the source.
