
The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of Muslim World League (MWL) has signed a contract with one of the national companies for the implementation of the project of sacrificial meat for 2014 in 49 countries of Asia, Africa and Europe continents.
The IIRO has allocated 15,550,000 Saudi riyals for this vital project which will benefit about three million people, most of them live in some of the refugee camps, especially Syrian refugees in neighboring countries.
IIRI Secretary General Ehsan bin Saleh Tayyip said that the Organization will implement this project to help all the needy including the poor families, widows, divorcees, orphans and the disabled.
He added that the project will be executed in the countries of Yemen, Egypt, Sudan, Mauritania, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, Lebanon, Morocco, Niger, Kenya, Somalia, Chad, Uganda, Benin, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Mali, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Djibouti, South Sudan, Nigeria, Guinea, Conakry, Namibia, Zanzibar, Angola, Togo, Ivory Coast, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, Kashmir, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Thailand, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Bangladesh.
