A senior official at Indonesian financial ministry said on Thursday that government would raise the salary and allowances for civil servant, troops and police servicemen this year. Deputy Finance Minister Anny Ratnawati said the government has allocated a 10 percent salary increase for the civil servants, including a month full-salary bonus, locally known as the 13th salary, once. As for servicemen serving in the military and police, Anny said that government has allocated more payments manifested in meal allowances. \"Overall, the government has arranged 217.7 trillion rupiah ( about 23.7 billion US dollars) salary budget for the civil servants this year,\" Anny briefed reporters in the ministry\'s 2012 fiscal policy expose session held here. She added that the ministry has allocated a total of 508.3 trillion rupiah for the ministerial and government agencies expenditure this year, including salaries for civil servants working in offices under their supervision.
