
Iran's exports of goods via its land borders increased 14 percent during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-December 20, 2013, 2013) compared with its preceding year, an official announced on Monday. Director General of the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization (RMTO) Faramarz Maddah said during the nine-month-long period about 43.5mln tons of various goods were exported from the country, the Iranian Moj news agency reported. Maddah added that Afghanistan and Turkey were the first two top importers of the Iranian commodities.
