A high-level Italian economic mission will visit Egypt on February 22-24, said Egyptian Ambassador in Rome Amr Helmy.
In a statement Sunday, the Foreign Ministry said the mission will include 80 representatives of Italian companies working in green and renewable energy, petroleum, natural gas, manufacturing industries, petrochemicals, electronics, communication, information technology, food industry, cars components, constructions, sewage treatment and solid waste fields
Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development Carlo Calenda will preside over the mission, Helmy said, adding that this mission asserts that Italy is looking forward to boost bilateral relations in investment and trade fields.
The mission's visit to Egypt comes as a preamble to Italy's participation in the Egyptian economic conference due to be held in March in Sharm el Sheikh.
