Kenya government announced that 2015 will be a year of the Egyptian industry and will witness more economic cooperation with Egypt.
This came at the first investment conference held in Nairobi and wrapped up on Thursday.
Former Head of the Egyptian-American Business Council and Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Association of Industrialists Dr Hani Qesis said the Kenyan government agreed on granting the Egyptian investors a set of incentives and privileges to bolster trade and investment relations with Egypt.
The Egyptian delegation participating in the conference met with the Kenyan president who pledged to approve a set of incentives to boost their businesses in Kenya, he added.
The Egyptian industrialists are keen on promoting economic cooperation with all African nations, especially the Nile Basin countries, he said.
