
A meeting between the visiting Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation and Nicaraguan officials was held on Sunday which focused on bolstering ties in the power, investment, infrastructure, and health domains, said a statement Sunday.
A statement by Kuwait's Ambassador to Mexico and non-resident envoy to Nicaragua Sameeh Hayat obtained by KUNA said that the meeting, attended by head of the parliamentary delegation Yaqoub Al-Sanea and other members of the delegation, also touched on issues of mutual interest.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation paid a visit to a monument dedicated to the victims of the wars in Nicaragua.
The Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation arrived in Nicaragua last Tuesday on an official visit to the country.
