Macedonian industrial production volume index grows 7.5%

Macedonian industrial production volume index in October of 2014 witnessed an increase of 7.5 percent compared with the same month last year, according to data released by Macedonian State Statistical Office on Thursday.
For the first 10 months in 2014, Macedonian industrial production index rose by 5.1 percent on a year-on-year basis.
The industrial production in the section mining and quarrying in October 2014, in comparison with October 2013, decreased by 4.2 percent, in the section manufacturing industry it increased by 7.9 percent, and in the section electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 21.3 percent.
