
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Tuesday urged British businessmen to attend the economic summit that will be hosted by Egypt in March.
The remark was made by the Egyptian premier during his participation in the inauguration of a conference organized by the Egyptian-British Business Association.
Mahlab confirmed that Egypt is forging ahead along the road of economic progress through implementing economic reforms and enhancing the business atmosphere.
He asserted that these measures are important for boosting the investor confidence in Egypt. These measures by the government prompted international finance institutions to upgrade Egypt's credit rating, he added.
The conference is aimed at attracting more British investments into Egypt. Attending also the conference were the ministers of international cooperation, investment, housing, financing and electricity.
