
The Head of the Egyptian-Malaysian Business Council Sherif el Gabaly said Monday that a delegation representing Malaysian (Proton) company will probe the investment opportunities in the automobiles domain during the coming phase.
In statements to MENA, el Gabaly underlined that the Egyptian market is promising, adding that the agreements inked by Egypt with number of countries will contribute in promoting the car industry in the country.
He called on swiftly announcing the new strategy of the Trade and Industry Ministry pertaining to the car industry to attract more investments and removing the obstacles that hinder this vital sector so that the production can reach 100,000 vehicles annually.
