Moscow is interested in coordinating the logistics of humanitarian aid convoy with Kiev and the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) and expects understanding from the international community, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said on Thursday.
“We are interested in the maximum coordination of all details of the logistics with the Ukrainian side and the International Committee of Red Cross, and so we are doing everything necessary for this,” Karasin said.
“But we take sufferings of people as more important so we hope that the international community understands it correctly,” he said.
“We are going to render humanitarian assistance to the population in Ukraine’s south-east until they need it because people suffer there,” Karasin said.
