
Niger's Minister of Vocational and Technical Education Chaibou Dan Inna said Monday in Algiers he was "impressed" by Algeria's experience in the field of vocational training.
The Nigerien minister, who is on 4-day visit to Algeria, said that he was "extremely impressed" by the achievements of Kaci-Tahar National Institute of Vocational Training and Education in El Biar, Algiers.
"We are interested especially as we (in Niger) seek to boost our technical education and vocational training system," he added.
Chaibou Dan Inna, who also visited the vocational training centre of Birkhadem, said that his visit to Algeria "will strengthen cooperation between the two countries."
During a working session between the two delegations, the Algerian side expressed interest in "cooperation in traditional crafts given Niger's experience in the field."
Niger's Minister of Vocational and Technical Education arrived Sunday morning in Algeria at the invitation of his Algerian counterpart Noureddine Bedoui.
