Paris will participate in Egypt's economic conference, slated for March, French Ambassador in Cairo Andre Baran said.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to France in November has helped promote the economic partnership between the two countries, Baran said during the inauguration of a new production line for a French cosmetics company at the industrial area in the Tenth of Ramadan City on Thursday.
The size of French direct investments in Egypt stands at three billion Euros through 14 companies and other affiliates, he said.
France is looking forward to raising its investments in Egypt in the coming period in light of a reform plan adopted by the Egyptian government, he said.
The French Development Agency has pumped 300 million Euros into Egypt for small and medium sized enterprises, industrial development and the development of the infrastructure, he added.
