
South Korean President Park Geun-hye on Tuesday expressed her commitment to expanding economic cooperation with Egypt as she held a summit with her Egyptian counterpart on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly, Yonhap reported.
Park also said South Korea will consider providing assistance to the education sector in Egypt, according to Park's office.
Meanwhile, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called for South Korea's investment to help spur his country's economic development.
South Korea also said it will hold consultations with Egypt as Sisi invited Park to visit Egypt to help promote bilateral relations.
