Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Greek politician and leader of the Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA), Alexis Tsipras, on winning the national parliamentary elections, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday.
“In the congratulatory telegram, the Russian head of state expressed confidence that Russia and Greece will continue to boost the traditionally constructive interaction in all spheres and will effectively cooperate in the efforts to resolve current European and international problems,” the press service said.
“The Russian president wished Tsipras success in his responsible state activity in the current difficult circumstances,” the Kremlin said.
