The Russian-Egyptian Business Council will organize an economic forum in Cairo on “industrial trade dialogue between Russia and Egypt” on May 25-26.
Executives of the largest Russian companies, factories and production institutions will attend the event, organized in cooperation with the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry, to meet their Egyptian peers, a statement issued by the council said.
Russian and Egyptian industry and trade ministers Denis Manturov and Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour, respectively, will represent their countries.
The council further noted that representatives of the private sector and government bodies from both Russia and Egypt will probe aspects of cooperation during roundtable discussions in several domains, including investment projects, innovation technology in the shipbuilding industry, machinery engineering and manufacture of agricultural machinery.
The forum is the first manifestation of the reactivation of the council in November, it said.
