Chairman of the Russian-Egyptian Business Council Michel Shamil Orloff underlined the importance of a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Egypt, which will start on Monday.
The leaders of Egypt and Russia will seek means to remove administrative obstacles hindering economic cooperation, Orloff told MENA.
He praised efforts by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to promote ties with Russia and Putin's interest to boost cooperation with Middle Eastern countries, especially Egypt.
The outcome of the visit will give a boost to businesspersons from both sides to increase their direct investments, he said.
He expected the two presidents to also probe security threats in the region.
