Russia's seventh humanitarian aid convoy to East Ukraine arrived in Lugansk and Donetsk regions on Sunday, an official said.
Representative of Russian Emergency Situations Ministry Oleg Voronov said the convoy’s 20 trucks had delivered to Lugansk over 100 tonnes of humanitarian aid, Itar Tass reported.
“As the trucks are unloaded, they will head for the Rostov region,” he said.
“Over 50 trucks have arrived in Donetsk,” Voronov said. “They have delivered over 350 tonnes of cargo.”
“No emergency situations were registered while the trucks moved. The vehicles are working properly,” he added.
It will be the seventh humanitarian convoy. The Russian Emergencies Ministry said six convoys had delivered more than 8,000 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes food products, medicines, clothes, fuel, building materials and other necessities to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions since August 23 to November 4.
