Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov on Tuesday said the current Egyptian-Russian talks aim to create the conditions to enhance bilateral cooperation.
In statements at the end of the commercial industrial dialogue between Egypt and Russia, Manturov added that several agreements were signed during the current talks.
He also called for providing the necessary support for Russian companies to work in Egypt.
This dialogue works to support the strategic partnership between the two countries, Manturov said.
The Russian side will work on the localization of the new high-tech industries in Egypt, he added.
The Russian side also proposed taking part in developing small and medium-sized enterprises as well as investment partnership in Egypt, he added.
The Russian minister confirmed his country's support for providing preferential advantages for the Egyptian products in the Russian market through preparing a draft convention in this regard for a period between five to seven years.
He expressed the hope that the Egyptian side adopt the same approach to providing preferential advantages for Russian industries in the country.
Moscow pays special attention to providing joint investments, technical support, industrial partnership and the establishment of a Russian industrial zone in Egypt, the minister said.
He added that the senior leadership in both Egypt and Russia support the strengthening of the industrial and commercial bilateral cooperation.
