
The Second Egyptian-Tanzanian Business Forum kicked off here on Tuesday and runs for two days.
The Tanzanian delegation is led by Zanbebarian Minister of Trade and Industry Ambassador Amina Salum, while the Egyptian side is led by Minister Plenipotentiary for Commercial Affairs and Head of Egyptian Trade Representation Authority (ETRA) Ahmed Antar with the participation of Executive Director of the Egyptian Businessmen Association Mohammad Youssef, government officials as well as a galaxy of businessmen.
Tanzanian Ambassador Yasser Al Shawaf said the second session of the business forum aims at beefing up trade and economic relations as well as promoting the volume of Egyptian investments in Tanzania in light of the progress recorded in Tanzania's economic indicators as its Gross Domestic Product hit 7 percent.
The Tanzanian delegation involved as many as 60 members from government bodies and private business sector.
The first Egyptian-Tanzanian forum was held in Cairo 2014
