South Korean builders secured US$66 billion worth of construction orders in 2014, the second highest annual tally after the country won the United Arab Emirates nuclear plant deal four years prior, the government said Friday.
The finance ministry said last year's achievements reflect the best orders ever received from Africa, Europe and Latin America, aided by local companies forming consortiums for bids instead of competing against each other.
